Quick question about the slider

Hi.

Previously I was working on mpc 1000 and enjoyed the sliders functionality. Used to play with filter levels with them.

Now I'm into mpc 3000 and the thing is: when I move the slider on filtered samples quickly it doesn't react the same way as the 1k. I mean: I'd like to get similar effect of phase shifter (the bubble sound, hope You know what I mean) by moving the slider up and down to filter and unfilter the sound. I could do that on the 1k but on the 3k it doesn't react on quick moves.

Is it normal or there's something wrong with the slider?

the filter on the 3000 is non linear. so parameter changes only occur every time the sample is played through.

I see. So it doesn't work the same way as the slider in mpc 1k.
