hooking up an mpc to a normal stereo

i went through like 20 pages and didnt see this question so if it has been answered before i aplogzie. i was wondering if you can hook an mpc 2000xl up to a normal AIWA stereo with auxillary inputs? if anyone could let me know i would greatly appreciatte it.

it can be done.
first you going to need to get some cords that are quarter inch males to plug in to the out puts on you mpc, and on the end of you quarter's your going to need male/ female rca's to hook up to your system. You can get theses at radio shack.here is the link.

If you get these you going to need to get rca males patch cables to hook up to you system.

actually i live right outside the city, like 10 minutes away in the burbs. i used to chill on the northside alot and i used to get trees on the westside everyday for a while.

is there a way to reverse this process?as to rip music from the stereo(cd) and put it into my 2kxl

also is their a way to hook a turntable up to that same stereo as a sort of amp and rip vinyl to the mp?

Wouldnt you just use rca cables to go from the turntable to your mixer(channel) then go from your main out into the phono input? Or just directly from the turntable to the streo. Maybe im thinking of mine cause its more of an amp.

If it's a general Hi-Fi amp, can you plug the MPC in to the Tape In/Out connections? The signal is right, you can use Tape Source control to decide what source goes to the MPC. Then use the Tape Monitor controls to listen to the playback. I think that's how it works, it has been a while...
