Hello mpc users!

Im having a lot of trouble finding the correct setup.. I always find myself trying to find new ways to setup my home studio, now the problem is I only have my bedroom that is 4x6 or so, with a 2 person bed , couch, and lounge tables in them, so that makes half of it really filled.. and now there is only 2x 4 m left for my studio, I am really desperate for tricks to make my studio more 'roomy' but still comfortable, so I opened this topic for the bedroom beatmakers and just wanted to hear some good advice on making your studio smaller ( with the same gear).

Hope someone has some tips for me! :-D

thanks in advance, Roy ShyftE

(btw I've been checking the pics of yo cribs topic for years now, and it always helped me a lot)

I have this:

'Highsleeper' ?? (2 persons)
Don't know what's called in English. Also nice excuse not to take fat chicks home. Anker it into the wall and you should be fine.

I also have this desk:

On this desk I can place as much stuff as on two tables. Just stack your stuff.

I have a decent pc, small interface/ mixer, mpc, midi keyboard, equalizer/amp for TT and two pair of speakers on there. Plus a small table for the TT and DJ mixer. Everything fits underneath that bed. It was this way or no way. I live in the center, you know how small appartments can be in the city's center.

I got lucky.

When looking for a house there are always three factors that are very important:

Price, space and location.

In a city like Amsterdam you have to let go at least one of them.

I have a cheap place at a nice location, but very small. 30m2, which include my livingroom, kind of a bedroom, shower/ toilet and kitchen.
I was thinking about to update my studio pics in the 'pics of your crib' section. Then you can see how small it actually is. But hey, I can walk to all the nice hiphop/ music spots.

What gear do you have, and do you have a pic of the current studio layout?
