def think he mostly just uses pitch and mono but who knows
His programs are mono? Thats something iv never noticed, converting a stereo sample to mono can cause some serious fizz or phasing right?
bro no dis but u dont know what the **** it going on with production and thats cool
but converting from stero to mono will not automatically cause distortion or fuzz.
timestrech is not a requirement tomake beat line up and hit correctly or be on point
all u need is to be able to chop samples alter pitxh be it on the turntable or in the sampler, then **** with tempo and swing and possibly envelopes.
dont listen tio these egg heads that say u can make a beat without timestrech lotta them duds is ex geeks and space marines fanatics so the approach creative arts from nerds mindset hence the need spectral analysers to tell them if they have phase issues or shit is out of tune.
or they need a beat per minute application to help them find samples that match the song tempo.
so following them dudes they will over complicate shit cos thats how they mind thinks and they'll have creating midi daisy chains between ur microwave and ur iphone before u just hit the pad on ur controller.
