Decision time

I am strictly a hardware guy, but take my MPC to a studio and track out the beats into protools, using an mbox. If I get the MPC Ren, I will no longer have to track them out, thus eliminating the use for an mbox or avid product? Looking to create a compact home setup with a new MB Pro and the Ren. Feedback? Thanks!

Right now Maschine is still $200. Rest assured you won't be seeing anything from Akai until after Augst31st. You have plenty of time to make your decision.

Either way, I wouldn't go getting rid of your interface. At least not until you see if the Ren will work the way you want it to with Pro Tools.
