A 3000LE in wood? Damn... NICE!!!!
How much was it?

I paid $1,000. Not a steal by any means, but I felt it was a good deal for a machine that had been so well taken care of. In other words, I was very happy with the price. Been on it half an hour, and already figured out how to chop samples up thanks to the info here on the forums (it sounded a lot worse than it actually is...) The old 4000 is sitting in the corner, it might just stay that way too.

Umm yeah it is! Well done! Looks dope!

Well that's good to hear...haha. I was happy with the price, compared to eBay LE prices now I guess it was a steal. Only thing I've discovered is one tact switch is a little sticky, and the backlight is about gone. I'll deoxit the tact and order up a backlight....easy fixes!

Can you find out where the wood panels came from? I'm interested in some.

I recently bought MPC3000LE no:491 - It's 230V version. I'll post a pic soon.

Yeah, they're from Forat.

No. 0940 (Left in the first pic) the US 110V is a bit worn on the edges. No. 1314 EU230V is basically brand new.

1089 (240v) virgo3 GERMANY (Akai OS 3.11) Internal floppy /ext zip /ext card reader

The scratch below the stop button looks worse on the pic, due to the flash...
The floppy either needs replacement soon, or a close look, since the eject is mechanically acting up.
Other than that, pads and display still fine for now.

EDIT
I particularly liked sirparksalot woody :!:

Looking good there Virgo3 with the MPC60 to keep the LE company. I've updated the list in the first post.

Thanks for posting.

Actually, where did you get the LE?

@smellypants

Your LE look fresh out the box, no battle scars like mine lol...

ya missed the Ren in the back :!:

clint246clint wrote:Actually, where did you get the LE?

From the UK, unfortunately you were not willing to sell me your LE...
because I am actually looking to have 3.5 but do not want to miss the LE look.

WARNING OFF TOPIC REMARK!
would it work to transplant a 3.5 PCB mainboard into my LE?
(should I start a new topic about this...?...could not find any suitable topic while searching)
