I've been away for a while, and I see a lot of new members around here.

Just a reminder...please don't post your own videos in this thread, they will be removed without notice. You can do that in the 'Your Music' forum.

Please do post other peoples beatmaking videos if they provide insight into the process and result. A brief description of the video content/ gear used would be appreciated.

If in doubt, refer to the OP.

These videos are all about the 12 bit crunch and sequencer of the daddy, the MPC60...

Polish beatmaker Michal puts together some heat on the MPC60 using some vinyl, an Akai S-1000, Cheetah MS-6 analogue synth and live bass guitar (11:33)

Johnny Illdigger sequences a generic sampled loop beat using an MPC60 (10:12)

Beatz by Jo$h puts on his favourite black socks, and goes to work on the MPC60 (6:23)

MPC Forum member IDK cooks up a banger using the MPC60, an Akai S-950 and Sonar software (6:10)

Cant embed from Vimeo so click the links below as usual, this page is sluggish enough as it is...

A beatmaking video with German producer Fallik. Samples into an Akai S-900 via an audio editor and sequences with the MPC60, adding some dope cuts on the wheels of steel. Audio and video quality is amazing, 10/10 for cinematography. Sets the standard for beatmaking vids IMHO (9:59)

Aussie MPC Forum member Discourse Shows the process of making a beat down under using the MPC60 II. You may have spotted this studio in the 'Pics of your crib' or 'Post your 3000/ 60' threads (9:45)

The first batch of MPC Renaissance units began shipping to pre-orders a few days ago and were officially in the hands of paying customers on 31st August 2012.

This is the first beatmaking video using the Renaissance by someone outside of Numark/ Akai that has come to light. It was made by SFS, who as a beta-tester, has several months experience of the Ren to call on. Remember all the samples you hear are on the computer, the hardware simply performs the role of controller and audio interface (16:53).

The floodgates have opened...

Some live outdoor mixing, scratching and padwork from the french duo JUKEBOX CHAMPIONS using four MPC's, the 1000, 2000XL, 2500 and 4000 plus a Roland SP404.

Note the angle of the MPC's on their stands, never seen that before... (4:03)

Now this is what I call a live PERFORMACE, dope.

And another shorter vid, equally dope. (1:35)

Probably one of my top three producers Bryan Michael Cox, digs, chops and creates an R&B joint using the MPC5000, MPC2500, Korg Triton and some soft-synths/ plug-in's in Logic Pro.

Plenty of dopeness on dudes channel, I suscribe to dopeness.
