Iv had my mpc for almost a year, its the BK and it came with the upgrade, I also have the black thick pads, im extremely curious, iv seen other ppl being able to hold a single finger on pad without lifting it, every time I do this without exception it double triggers, full velocity or not, there is always a studder sounds I HAVE TO hit the pad and release, on all 16, is this my lack of practice or is there really an issue, I was watching a video of Memorecks explaining his main issue with a Maschine was changing his playing style, on his 1k he would rest his finger on the snare? I believe, if not it was one of the pads and just move like that, my pads WILL not allow any resting without double triggering. The sensitivity is also not set high its all on the same level jjos(free version) left it right in the middle.

I have the same setup as you, and yeah, mine are ultra sensitive with the fat pads installed. Double triggering is an issue for me too. You definitely hit them differently with them installed...But I love the sensitivity as well.

nah thats the thing man, the original grey pads did the same thing, the **** up part is the pad upgrade was not all that sensitive for me. I just dont like the fact that other people with a 1K can finger rest and play without really having to lift their fingers, id like to adopt this fluid style of finger drumming but I dont know wtf is wrong.

Try turning on full level +pad sensitivity setting all the way up maybe?

This would indefinitely set off the double triggering worse, I have to keep Full Level off, which I personally like it that way. Im wondering if it could be the sensor sheet?
