Hello everyone,I'm currently using the ebook"using the mpc with abelton live"and been taking everything step by step as instructed.the problem I'm having is I can hear everything from my mpcthrough my headphones but my MIDI notes play through my onboard laptop speaker.I'm currently running a digidesign mbox 2 and Jjos 1 on my mpc and abelton seems to be recognising the mbox is this maybe a driver issue?any help would greatly be appreciated so I can complete my journey from just sampling from my turntable to incorporating abelton into my music.......thanx for the help in advance!

Im not familiar with the Mbox2.

Regardless, you will need to route the audio signals from Ableton to a place where you can monitor them alongside the audio from your MPC. This will usually be:

a) to an audio interface (Mbox2?), through which a number of audio signals from different sources (MPC?) can be monitored at the same time using headphones of monitor speakers.

b) to an outboard mixer, through which a number of audio signals from different sources (Ableton; MPC) can be monitored at the same time using headphones of monitor speakers.

Im pretty sure the ebook starts from a point where you have thing set up correctly and are able to monitor your audio sources.

Put the ebook down, and get your monitoring sorted first.
