Metronome and sequences?

Hello

Is there is possible to have the metronome turned on in some sequences and off in other sequences on JJ OS2XL?

I'm sending a metrome signal to my drummer, but he only needs in some sequences, so it is pretty ignoring to have it running in the other sequences.

I'm on a MPC 1000.

I don't think so, pretty sure it's a global setting.

I like to send the metronome to an unused output. Then when I need it, I just turn up that channel on my external mixer.

well are you using all your outs of the MPC, If not then just send him one track that is your own home made metronome click. and then you can mute it and unmute it anytime you want or sequence it to only sound in say the count in. You mke a click track and assign that track out to your drummers phones or monitor fill

Or program that MPC real good and ditch the drummer, thats the other option
