Awww damn forgot about that mpc that quick, that's the only thing.

It was hardly ever used by the original owner (a long time homeboy) that sold it to me.

Everything else was new.

oddly enough, i've had more bad luck when buying new gear [obvious re-sealed boxes and returned items being sold as new, etc]... i think 90% of my studio setup is all used gear off of ebay and the sort... USA has one of the BEST used markets on the planet... dudes take that sh!t for granted to be honest...

I thought I remembered reading that you'd bought it used!

At one time I would only ever buy new, but now I look out for those deals where the owner has bought something and lost interest real quick and boxed it back up.

A 25% or more saving on something that is 'nearly new' can be a bonus in these times.

I am thinking about picking up an MPC 4000 this weekend. I located a Blue Model MPC 4000 that is in near mint condition for $1000 out here..

I may follow that up with finding an MPC 60.
