mutes won't work while soloing tracks???

Why is it that when I solo trax to go thru and see what is on what track, tracks I have muted still play. Even though the mute is on. I'm afraid when I synk to protools and solo each track one at a time to record the muted tracks won't turn off at the right sequence. Why does it do that, do I have something enabled or disabled I shouldn't? - J. White

First off, if you morons had spent the same ammount of time reading and talking $h!t about my questions, you could have just answered them. You act like you were never confused about something. Second, I'm sure in the 100 + pages of threads i'm not the only one to repeat a question. Third, yes I have read the manual and just like any manual or textbook every explanation isn't perfect. man we aint morons. come on now aint no need for all that. questions get answered quickly and efficiently here. quicker then any other forum i know!! if noone knows noone will answer. if people feel its been explained enough they wont answer. i dont mind repeat questions and i answer when i can. but chill wit the namecalling.
