Hey, so does anyone know how to have a VSTi as the sound source for a physical talkbox like a Rocktron Banshee?

I currently have my Rocktron Banshee talkbox connected to a Korg MS2000 the proper way, but when I change my sound source to a VST on my computer (MS2000 controlling the VST via MIDI), and I engage the Banshee, the sound from the VST isn't sent to the talkbox tube...

When I have the MS2000 as the signal source it works normally.

My question, in other words, is: how do I get the sound from the VSTi to go through the Banshee talkbox tube? Does this require changing the Banshee's audio cable connections, or some other change in the VSTi's host DAW perhaps?

You've answered your own question.. kinda

I still don't know which audio cable to disconnect from the Banshee talkbox or which output to connect it to my audio interface -- or if that's even what I'm supposed to do.

If yes, then could you elaborate a bit so I know what the proper connections are?

You want to use a VSTi instrument to use as a sound source to your Talkbox but you haven't connected it up. You've managed connecting it with Korg MS2000 okay though. Look at the connection you are using on the MS2000 when you have that working. It's an audio output yes?

Think about where your VSTi audio output is and connect the Talkbox there instead.
