midi "OUT" from your MPC to the midi "IN" on your midi interface
in reason go to edit srceen then select "preferences"
from there go to the midi options and turn the midi sync option "ON"
then go to the midi sync screen on your MPC and select "MTC"
now when you push play on your mpc your sequence in reason will play along

1. Turn off Capslock.

2. Tell us what MIDI interface you have, and how you are hooking up your gear.

3. Tell us what EXACTLY you are trying to do. Saying you want to "use MPC and Reason" is like saying you want to "make music".

There are many ways to use the MPC and Reason together, and Reason is a fantastic program to incorporate with an MPC, as you can make the MPC the Master and sync Reason, you can use the MPC pads to trigger samples in the Reason samplers (saving loading times in the MPC when you are experimenting) and much much more.

Heres some basic tips though:

1. Make sure you are selecting MIDI in what the MPC pads are controlling, as well as an appropriate channel... chose channel 1A-Device01 to keep it simple for now.

2. Make sure you have assigned the correct MIDI settings in Reason... in this case go to the Preferences and choose your midi interface and channel 1

3. Make sure you have the correct Midi cables in the right ports... Midi Out A in this case.

4. Using the Hardware interface on the top of the Reason rack choose the Instrument/Device you want to control in Reason by clicking the drop-down menu there.

Its pretty simple. Read the Reason manual if you are having problems still.
