something like button lock?

hey guys.... whenever i do both hands fingerdrumming on mpc500, sometimes i accidentally hit button like MODE or change a pad bank.... it happens a lot... so im just wondering if mpc500 has some combination of buttons or whatever what locks all buttons except pads and slider for live play. ....if not ill probably make some plastic cover or something...

There isn't this feature overtly but there are some 'hidden features' or glitches but I still don't think that would be possible.

There's no remedy for your clumsy sausage fingers. I suggest rubbing them with lotion and stop squeezing tennis balls.

ILL-GREEN: dude... choose any drummachine samples you want, make 1 minute video of what you can do with your clumsy fingers, put it here + name of drummachine (808, 909 or whatever) and let me show you, that i can do better in friendly way of course, i just want to prove that my fingers really are not clumsy... we can do serious in europe too, youll see

samples of just one drummachine to make it easy and same sounds + no sequencing + only a real deal fingerdrumming ...

look... im new here.... i dont know you at all, i dont even know if youre just a troll who makes fun from anyone or guy with too high ego which needs to be lowered.... and english is not my own national language so i cant properly detect these things naturaly from text. Keep posting man. We're just messing around and not trying to make you feel bad. If you're not made fun of at some point around here you're probably not doing it right.

ok then. you know, when i translated ills comment it sounded pretty serious to me... but i was wrong i see.... sometimes it could be a bit difficult to recognize that thin difference between poke for fun and serious fckoff when you have your english only learned from books)) my sorry to everyone for being that angry b*tch)) ....and thanks for responses on topic, now it doesnt happen anymore... im taking care for keep my unused fingers in the air and its good now.... i had mpc for first couple of days, after i changed it with padcontrol and its obvious that different machine needs a bit different technique... i was getting mad because i needed everything to be ok because tommorow i have a concert with new hw, and i dont want to mess it up.
