Internal Zip Drive Mod

Ok I wanna put an Internal Zip Drive on my MPC 3000 as I want to do away with floppy disk drive. Googled to find parts and it is no way near to be found and my only option is to ship it to Forat to get it done but don't want to cause I live in NY & there in California.

Is there a site and I can find parts to mod it or Internal Zip Dive Kit ??? Do not want to use external zip drive as well but in any case scenario I may have to. Also dBm music in NYC is willing to do it but have to get parts. Thanks and help is appreciated and love this forum too !

You really want to put a zip drive in your MPC3000? in 2012?

Surely you're aware of the numerous advantages of installing a CF card reader?

Price difference wont be that much, but the benefits are indisputable.

Maybe I'm missing something? or you got a ton of dusty beats on Zip disc's?

Hey Clint I hear what you saying not sure if CF reader can handle the 3000( I know it sounds stupid) as it is an old unti and not taking a risk of damaging the MP. But since you say it can and saving options are better might as well look into. I mean this is the best investment I bought also had the 2000 /XL before like this unit better.

Alot of information & I see the point so you had me convince so again Clint thanks will definitely look into it and buy and internal cf reader.
