resampling with the 4000

I tried resampling with the 4000 main outs and cannot get the gain to increase to the proper db level. It sounds like garbage. I know I must be doing something technically wrong. I am seriously wanting so get my layered drum sounds into the computer so I may use them with soft samplers while on the road. Any one had this problem.

It might be that you have the general level (main out) set to a few db minus. I think the default setup is -3 or -4 db or something like that (at least that's what my machine was set to when I got it), you can check and adjust this value in the global menu. This affects the internal resampling as well.
