I had one on pre-order with Musician's Friend for months and received an email (with tracking number) that it shipped! I called to verify and found out that it did ship today! WOW!

I didn't believe it myself, that's why I called them. It still says available for pre-order on the site. The rep it did ship and should be here by Friday or Monday--we will see. I hope it is not the 5000 or a banana as Undertow mentioned LOL! Somebody else call to verify--I am being totally honest!

yep just checked my email and got the shipping info via UPS baby. Can't wait. You would think Akai would make the release official on the web site or a new videos indicating the release.
