After searching the entire I can not find a single link to work. I'm getting an error message ''Http/1.1 Service Unavailable'' for all websites that offer the free shareware version. I think they all link to the same destination.

Can anyone do me a massive favor by uploading the MpcPgmMaker 1.2.2 or higher. It can be any version, I'm running OSX Lion.

Thanks in advance

The links are all dead because MpcPgmMaker was discontinued some time ago. The features were ported into a 'new' app called RS-16X.

http://www.ssworkssoftware.com/rs16x/rs16x.html

Sequence & Song style stand-alone drum machine program with virtual controller pads & keyboard. Creates drum tracks without any external devices.

Features

• 16 x 6 Banks Virtual Pads.
• 88 Keys Virtual Keyboard Controller with Pitch Bend & Modulation Wheels.
• Virtual Pads & Keyboard correspond with computer's keyboard.
• 96 tracks sequencer.
• MIDI Clock Sync master or slave.
• Creates sequences in any time-signature.
• Swing Quantizing.
• Loads up to 1,536 samples at a time (16 Pads x 6 Banks x 16 Channels).
• Import & export AKAI MPC's ".PGM" & ".SND" File (MPC3000, MPC2000, MPC2000XL Format).
• Import & export Standard MIDI Files.
• Built-in synthesizer.
• Built-in reverb.
• Export sequence as AIFF.

For MPC3000 & MPC2000(NON-XL) Users
RS-16X creates both 2000 & 3000 format ".pgm" file, but you still need a way to transfer it from Mac to MPC. It seems some non-xl & 3000 user are having trouble transferring them. Unfortunately, I don't have much information about this problem at this moment. So, if creating .pgm files is the main reason to use this program, please test the program with your systems carefully before you actually register with RS-16X.

Latest version is 1.5.8 available from:

Thanks for pointing that out, Clint. I'm using RS-16X right now and had previously been using MpcPgmMaker. To me, RS-16X has way too much features and so I prefer the PgmMaker.

If anyone has the old program laying around please pm us.

The RS-16X program makes the PGM fine. How do we get it to the MPC ?

If you have an MPC3k you'd need the Mansell os that's no longer available or you could use MPCEditor ,which is also no longer available.
For MPC60 it would be MPCEditor, if you were lucky enough to get it before it stopped being sold.
