More the merrier. Finished the joint up last night, submitted today, do work. Reading the rules again. Realized that you can submit a beat not originating off the MPC , can't really get down with that one, SP's, 808's, other hardware is worthy. this is an MPC forum where we bang on pads daily, for simple Reason ya'll should take that to the Froot Loops Forum.

anyone else finish their joints up? Sirparksalot, did you lift that sample from vinyl? When I get the opp. that's how i'm doin it, from the personal collection.

I have in the past, but this one was a .flac file from a friends vinyl rip for me that I converted to .wav for you guys. So yeah, it's straight from vinyl, but not from my personal record stack

If I ever win one of these suckers, I'm gonna go all full metal jacket on the rules!

I didn't win the last battle, and was put on the spot to select a sample for this one. I went digging as soon as I got home from work, and figured you all would want me to go ahead and just get the sample up rather than wait an extra day for me to come up with rules that no one would like anyways .

It's so much time to do a beat any way dude, sample made me work differently well good choice

Word!! I was really wanting to enter in this one, but felt I shouldn't since I was asked to pick out the sample.....wouldn't be fair. OH well, next time for sure!
