I think that was a good sell, and not a dumb buy either, if that guy had the money to buy it, more power to him, he didn't wanna wait. And making a profit off of something is always good business, no matter what it is your selling. Get money. :smoker:

any upcoming or quick sell out product that has a fan base will sell for a premium.. but in this case, dude is indeed a sucker since ren is already shipping and about to be in stores, i could have understood it a couple months ago... not to mention oprah's listing was downright misleading with the whole "be the first person worldwide to own it" and if his unit is a beta test model, it might be unfinished/buggy hardware, if the case that's borderline scamming if you ask me..

this would be true if accurate. Read the other Ren threads beforehand

I don't think I could let mine go for +700 but I figured your's sold. Nice avoiding ebay fees. Could have probably of sold for more if it had a reasonable buy it now. I have a feeling a good amount of units will be out by this week

No cranium aimed firearms were in play as I understand it. :smoker:

Nothing new, but this **** up the game for people that actually wanna genuinely use the product! Bad enough you have the product company hitting you up for mad bread already, but then you have to battle with a bunch of guys that wanna beat you to the register just so they can sell it to you at a ridiculously inflated price on eBay! The shit is out of **** hand. I went into Champs to buy some Jordans on release day, and even the manager of the damn store was holding pairs to sell for a higher price, and even tried to sell them to me at a higher price in the god damn store while he was on the clock at the register! So **** the opportunist! Oprah get's a pass because he was intending on actually using it and just stumbled on a quick and easy come up, which I myself would have done. But camping out to buy up a stores whole stock just to sell it to people who really actually wanna use the product at some crazy price is just greed IMO! And the people that buy at these high prices are just as much to blame!
