Thats dope! I also think they should get some insight from producers who a few different things , dubstep, top 40 pop, just to see if they can include a few extra features.

But 64 bit is not a feature it really is a must for pro use!

That doesn't mean anything because they don't tell the extent of their involvement. Second the opportunity to get their name in a software app is just a bonus. If the list meant anything it would front and center.

If you are going to participate...at least keep up with the conversation.

Dorsey suggested that producers that Akai consulted don't have recent hits. I mentioned where you can find the list of producers Akai consulted...and they do have recent hits. Nothing more than that.

If you need to know the extent of their involvement...get on Facebook and ask them....

I don't believe the ren was delayed at all. back in january when it was announced, they said available late summer. the ren just got released for pre-orders last week with public release set for this thursday. so i would say they are on time as we are still in late summer. as far as silent release, akai/numark never made a big fanfare public announcement when the products are released. the 2500 released and nobody knew it was out until someone went to the store or saw it online. the same went for the 5000 as well.

1. Stop in and ask for suggestions, take them seriously.

what will happen if they were here and you made a suggestion and it was not implemented? would you say, see they don't take us seriously?

I'm not starting anything, i'm just asking a question. at what point do we say yes they are taking us seriously or no they aren't? maybe what they should do is after the studio ships (at that time the ren would be in full effect) post a schedule of anticipated updates. who knows, maybe Dan and Andy read the feature suggestions thread and are planning on implementing some of the suggestions in v1.1 or something.
