Beat makn video On Ren from scratch??

Edit: Since some of our most experienced/knowledgeable Ren users cannot post a video of makn a beat from scratch Ren for whatever reason being. Whether manual reading isnt translating into actual beat making use or they dont know how to use it, Is there anybody here who is willing to fill in the shoes and bless us with actual footage covering use of Ren, rather than just going over feature set

Didnt think it'd take long to get Ren beat makn video posted, especially being advertised and talked about as MPC style environment the learning curve should have remained minimal

A its hard to get a camera angle unless unless you use screen capture, but then you can't see the person working Audio is crap either way

B People are going to decided how good the ren is just by judging the beat. ( a ton of pressure )

What are the beta testers units missing from the new factory version?

It's a solid day or two project if you want to give quality shots and show what your doing. It would be easiest to make the beat... unassemble then remake it

I have only made simple beats with the kits and attached my cdj last night though my mixer. So just started sampling with short clips and not the whole song

I posted a really basic drum pattern and it was getting disliked more than Jah on this forum so I took it down (sorry trying to fit in )

The ren is an awesome machine and I am sure everyone feel's pressure to show a good representation of what it can do and how it works. Be patient or you may end up hating it for no reason

Tutor stated that he's going to do some detailed (video and text) reviews soon. Depending on what it is you're looking for those will likely be far more invaluable than beat making videos.

Somehow i'm left feeling that I'm not missing anything (mpc4000)....

But unfortunately as we speak, I only have software, no hardware - a disadvantage of being in the UK

Hardware video as soon as is physically possible - it's all in hand though, shouldn't be too long.

Suffice to say, I know the software pretty much inside out, so once the hardware arrives I'll tie it all together pretty quick.

I'm not going to bother with fluffy overview videos though, I'm sure others have got that kind of stuff in hand, I want to get quite geeky with it and focus on some heavy technical stuff.

I assume the public release requires the hardware for activation, but don't know for sure.

Public release requires hardware for activation and to actually use the product.

Wow.. this SFS guy actually sells samples? I hope the drums hes selling arent as weak as in his videos
