Interesting.....I went into a local GC yesterday and the "manager" had no clue when they were going to get any in stock. He said they had just enough to fill pre-orders.

Yes Guitar Centers are getting these in stock I just picked mine up today its awesome. Still has some bugs hope they can fix but its great.

Sweetwater.com reports that they should have their first batch ready to ship today, but I haven't heard back from them yet.
I pre-ordered it March. They say mine should be included in the first batch, and that they have more pre-orders than they will have products so the second batch will start shipping out around Oct 15th.

Just spoke with my Sweetwater rep... They claim they should be getting their shipment on Tuesday Sept. 11 -- he told me they actually have a tracking number this time. I've heard several different dates from him, so I won't believe it til I see it

I am still waiting for my Renaissance to be shipped from Guitar center! I paid for it last Friday, they told me I would get it Monday Sept. 17, No UPS, No MPC as of yet! The salesman even tried to sale me the display model. The MPC was suppose to ship from another store but when I called that store, the guy said he still had the MPC he didn't ship it out! Guitar center is horrible, this is the first time having a problem with GC but I always bought my stuff right then and there I never had anything shipped before! Do not have items shipped from Guitar Center, I read online the are horrible at it and my own experience! Each Guitar Center had 2 Akai MPC Renaissances, why I really do not know with a machine in high demand.

I'd sit back and wait for next shipment and or OS update, why continue beta testing n pay them for it

I bought mine from Guitar Center on Sept 12, and they said they only got in two, and both sold the first day. they did also say that Akai only shipped out so many and there may be a wait. I wasn't sure if the guy was just bullshittin me, so I would buy it, but seems accurate. No one else has it? I need to test mine out, and make sure I want to keep it. I will let you know.

32bit yes, however that won't matter.... ProTools is 32bit still..

Ableton beta has just been released in 64bit...

Multicore is what you need. and all the DAWS are hence why all is good with life...

Go tell a top producer you can't make a track on 32bit, you will then be laughed at!

Multicore, well thats another story... Thats why the Protools cards were made because it would take stress off the old CPUS... now days comps are so insane we dont need as good cards, however yes they are better, but thats technology moving on to go hand in hand like a little handshake

I bought mine from Guitar center on 9/14/12 and the guy told me mine was the last of the two units they received. Was back there last night and they are still out of stock.
