Background noise on my MPC

Hey guys i'm new on this forum !
I have some problems with an second hand MPC 500 .. When i use this With a RAM inserted i have noise in my speaker .. So i would like some Help to know why and if it's fixable ..

I have tested that with Battery and the AC adaptor . But i have found the problem , this MPC is totally Dead ! He give only a Mono sound ..

No worries. I take it he didn't advise you of any problems?

If you still have background noise with both mains and batteries, it could be your speaker or headphones connection. I would try them with a different source and if they work OK, go back to the seller!

I'll have to bring in warranty because even with 3 different headphones the problem persists. When I move the AC power outlet, the sound again become correct ..
