VINTAGESYNTH description:
An onboard 3.5 inch high density floppy disk drive allows for samples to be interchanged with higher-end Akai samplers or loaded onto a computer for further editing.

but there is nothing in the manual about it and I've never of anyone doing that. So can it really be done?

there was some complicated way of making an s20 disk from wav files - it ran in dos.
you can also transfer via midi.

you can, but you would never want to do it. takes a looong time.

So it's through omniflop /akai disk? That's a shame I was hoping since s20 can read s950 samples, that I could use it as a middle man to edit s950 samples on computer. But the omniflop will not work with USB floppy drives. Oh well, not like I really need to do this.
