Would any of you guys have the balls to flip your renaissance on ebay auction style with a reserve price? Prior to it's release which could be any day.... They haven't been released officially yet so you'd still make a profit due to the demand. I told you guys I will recop but not until 1. the price drops 2. people start selling them on ebay once the masses who suffer from gearlust purchase it and don't like it. 3. I spot a local craigslist come up.

I only ask because I know you just got it..... and you've been waiting for it.... but I just hate the fact that folks are going to be going APEISH... over bugs and arguing how the maschine is better... 64 bit this..... shift button that.... and blah.... blah... blah... whining on the forums about nonsense...RTFM and don't feed the trolls

If you did buy one of ebay that was registered, how would that work?
Could you even use it?

I think they will be widely available within like 2 weeks anyway.

Akai will transfer registration to the next user...the current owner would just shoot them (akai) an email requesting it with your serial # daytime phone, address, and email address. It's still early so they haven't even updated ANYTHING to the site that lets users know about this..... smh...
good question though.

ok... flipping something and making a profit, making money? why would that take balls? I'd sell anything if people were willing to buy it for more than then I paid. It's not like it's going to be difficult buy another Ren in a few weeks. If people are really going to buy the Ren for $500 more than it cost then hell yeah, I'll throw mine on Ebay in a second but I doubt by next week people are going to be that dumb to pay that much.

IJS.... there are 1 day, 3 day auctions... add a reserve and... winner winner chicken dinner. There is still a HIGH demand for them and people will pay. I didn't get worldwide messages and offers for no reason.

Since ebay won't protect u w/o it ?

$120.00-$150 depending on where it's going, but only ship to a CONFIRMED address. Of the few worldwide shipping I've done I"ve never had a problem.

@ dorsey: I used UPS for shipping to London and Mikonos... I weighed the packages on my "body scale" lol and plugged the weight in their online estimator.

@ InspectahEX: In all actuality you could probably get $2000 imo...... if you make the auction 1 or 3 days with a reserve.... or... add free worldwide shipping with a ridiculous buy it now price.... Auction would be better though... way more bids...Warning... you will get crazy offers :smoker:
