With the MPD18, could I make Dubstep alike beats without...

FL Studio, Audacity and such?
So when i press the buttons, I will get dubstep like beats without having to hook it up with my computer?

the mpd is a controller. you´ll need some sort of sound module (hardware/software) hooked up to it in order to make music...

THIS IS A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW IN MY OPINION. IF MY CEREAL CAN MAKE DUB WITHOUT BEING CONNECTED TO THE COMPUTER, WHY CAN'T MY MPD?

The other day I did a bunch of drugs and I musta blacked out cause I woke up in the bathtub naked with a squirrel hand puppet on one hand and my disconnected mpd in the other and I was like, "BUHH WAHCKA WAHCKA BUH WAHCKA WAHKCA BREEEZHRURRA LAH LAH LAH BUHH" with my left hand on the MPD and the squirrel puppet on my right body slamming around the bathtub in the other and I was like "OMG MY MPD MAKES DUBSTEP AND IT'S NOT CONNECTED TO MY COMPUTER!!" but then I realized it was just me making those sounds with my mouth. And my squirrel got sad.

Is this shit for real?
