)Older style MPC way of doing things. In Trim Mode, the pads play the sample assigned to that pad in the program. The view would then swtich to whatever sample is assigned to the pad. This will allow much faster editing of different samples.
Instead of scrolling trhough the available samples to edit, you would have instant access. Tap the pad of the sample you want to edit, and it displays on the screen. If you have used an older MPC like a 3000, you know that this is a much much faster way to edit samples.
*EDIT* Perhaps a function key to swtich between this type of view / pad behavior and the type we have now would be the best of both worlds, with the default being the type requested here.
