Anybody kw who has the Ren for 15% off. I'm ready to purchase, but after I saw ppl getting the Ren for 15% off thts the deal I'm gonna wait for.

Yeah i just pre ordered my mpc ren 2 days ago at musicians friend when they had a one day sale 13% off which knocked it down to $1130 with free shipping.

13% is good, best I can find now is 10% with AMS, bc GC charges 9.25% tax. I still dnt really wanna pay more than $1105 (15% off) since I kw ppl hv got tht great deal already, maybe its a mind thing. Hope I dnt hv to wait until Thanksgiving.

Just ordered the new MPC Ren from AMS with 15% discount for 1130. They're on back order right now until the end of the week.

Was there a code or something you had to put in for the 15%? They only agreed to do 10% when I pre-ordered from AMS...

I had a price match done a week ago when GC had the 15% off. I was charged $1104 this am however they are showing back ordered till next month and that's what my status is showing on my account too. Who told you the end of the week? A few ppl canceled their order with them so I hope that moves me up on the list ( I was #17 in line). I have a feeling they are probably going to get some out of no where and ship them then go back out of stock. Akai has to know the frustration they are causing by pushing a product back a month on a store like AMS, but since I got it for $1100 with an extended warranty I can wait. With the money I saved, I got a price match for a Mikro for $200 and will pair them together. I just checked and they pushed it back 5 more days, NICE !!!! 10/10/12

Yeah GC may just be saying that but may still send it to you? That was a damn good deal you got! I didnt pay tax on it so that's cool too. I'm not sure why Akai is waiting? It's draws a red flag to me because a product that's high anticipated you would think you would see alot marketing adds like NI. Maybe they are mass producing them now and seeing what they need to do to market all 3 units together. Idk as long as I got mine.

What are they doing playing phone tag with Akai, now AMS shows 9/20/12, within an hour they changed the date twice. REALLY !!

I see the 9/20/12 expected date as well. It has changed 3 times just today... I'm on hold to speak to someone now about getting that extra 5% off since they've given a couple of you guys 15% and would only give me 10%

The trick is to submit the price match 3rd shift, they have people in there that dont care. When I did it first they came back with 10% off for about 1169. I waited till about 2am and did it again. Woke up to the approval at 7aml. I have been dealing with them for years, if they dont want match it first time. I will submit that thing 50 times until I get someone slipping and approve it, then I place my order. I will get message saying denied its below our cost at 5pm. Wait until 1am and some joe blow approves it the same offer. I have sent B stock links and got approval for new in stock items. All about the timing. If you say a local store GC has an item and give them the number , a lot of time they wont call they will just check to see profit margin and approve it. I have developed this tutorial over years !

Nice!!! I've been trying for days everywhere but no luck yet. I hvnt tried corresponding electronically tho, only been making phone calls. Why was ur price $1130 instead of $1105?

They match B stock prices during the overnight???? I know where I am about to order my mixer from.
