MPC WITH NUENDO....

What up yall. . . .

Started using nuendo and i am having some trouble with the MIDI settings. .

When i play a VST instrument there is a LOOOONNGGG delay after i hit the pad on my MP until i hear the instrument....how do i fix that..

and i cant get it synced.....

HELP. .

( sorry if this is in the wrong section but i think it has to do with studio environments)

Try going into device setup and lowering your buffer size this will be located at the top bar it says devices this may stop your delay problem.

Incase NE1 is keepin tabs. . . i got er all synced up now, i just need to fix this delay problem. . .

You should see a control panel when you go into VST Multitrack in devices
click on the control panel and you should see where to lower your buffer
or raise it to fix your delay problem.

go to device tab ,scroll down to device setup, then scroll down to vst multitrack and a window should pop up with the type of sound card that is currently being used... now the million dollor question is ,,,,,what type of sound card do you have? this will probly tell us why you have such a huge delay

ok I use to have the same card and I was able to go as low as 10 ms
make sure you have the ASIO driver selected in the nuendo device set up .

IS THAT MIDI INPUT OR MIDI OUTPUT???

AS OF RIGHT NOW, THERE IS STILL A HUGE DELAY. . . . IF I GO ANY LOWER THAT 2056 ON THE INPUT I LOSE SYNC....

make sure the drivers to your 2496 is up to date and make sure nuendo has the right asio driver selected in the setup.. if that is not done right you will have delays
