So the latest maschine price drop got me... i copped it and customized it. one note... the default pads suck. get rid of em and stop by MPCstuff.com for the thick pads.

Some great modding you have done there... :)

I have seen some wooden knobs for sale on ebay when i was in search for some guitar speed knobs to pimp my MPC5000....maybe these will also fit your machine...?

good idea mpcstuff.com sells the same knobs that i used on my 5000 for the maschine so what you are suggesting sounds like it will work.

found some dope wooden knobs. I'm gonna cop if they have 11 of the same knobs in stock. they are for guitars so there are only sets of 2, 3 or 4. handmade.

Great to hear...!
I hope you can find 11 of the same knobs then....maybe contact the seller....?

I finally ended up with Schaller 178RU knobs which look very slick on my MPC5000 :

i dont feel like starting a brand new thread for this, but i was wondering, do you know if you can take off the decal without damaging the original casing?
im doing a similar mod to my MPC (hand made wood panels + white casing) but i wanna make sure i can go back to blakc if i ever get tired of the white

Maschine looks dope, post flicks once you get the new knobs on.

Thanks.

I dont know about removing a decal. this is my first time using one. I would say that if you want to do it just be really really sure thats what you want to do.

Once I get some new knobs I will update the pics in this thread.

im thinking of getting 8 of the same and the 3 in another style for the volume, tempo and swing knobs. the seller will take special orders. it may take a while though.
