So when running the Ren in plug in mode the tranport controls dont work at all......
Like once you start logic, the Ren takes off and syncs up, but you cannot record using the transport controls on the Ren.
You have to click the tranports on the rens plug in interface....

2. In logic 64 bit running Ren under the bridge, You cannot edit or even change instruments inside of a plug in track on the ren.... It wont even respond to the clicking you try to do once you press "edit" for your plug in

I can't even find the ren as a plug in.. I do not want to use it as an interface.. But as far as where it should be in plug ins slot its non existent. I can just export files to logic but when I was downloading the software it made it seem like you could use ren standalone with its own software, or as a plug in. Already talked to jah about this so I want other logic users experience

well its a 32 bit plug in so if you are running logic in 64 bit mode it wont see it untill you open logic in 32 bit.

go into your applications folder and find the logic symbol with the platinum record on it.
right click on it or control click, and go to "get info"

there will be a check box in that window that says "open in 32 bit" check that box
and open logic.
Then it should rescan it and find it.
then you can go back to 64 bit and run it under the bridge but I would stay in 32 bit if you can.

To get 32 bit plugs working in Logic's 64bit mode. Install your plug, than load Logic in 32bit mode, to allow the plugin/ AU to be recognized, authorized and added.

Than you you can load Logic in 64bit mode, than the plug will be available in the AU instrument menu, and the AU 32bit bridge will load the plug.

FYI.

^ what he said.

as to transports, if you set your transports to "Plugin" in the preferences menu in MPC, you can use the transport buttons so reorc will trigger the MPC, but play will go to logic. this will let you start and stop in logic, but trigger record in MPC.

pm me if you have more trouble, and Ill get you in touch a tesch support guy who can call or email yoiu.
