I forwent Animoog and got Sunrizer and Magellan instead. These two stopped me from purchasing an actual stage phatty, minibrute and or Nord Wave all of which I was considering. I'm good for now. I had never heard of wavegenerator, I've always heard of Animoog though.

I'm a huge Animoog / Alesis io user. Looking forward to Magellan and WaveGenerator.

I think I've used MidiBridge to map midi channels / use multiple instruments with my 5000. I'm gonna test and make an article out of it for BBoytechreport.com

Have you ever done one on Animoog? If so I'd like to read it.
Only the past month have I ever even been curious about apps, it's some great stuff out there. The 48 track daw Auria looks amazing as well.

I've loaded my one timbres into AniMoog and to very simple. But Wavegenertor you can make your own timbres, I'm going to to try to load some from wave to Moog and play around with that. It just starts to sound like all the timbres sound the same in Animoog.

Can iPad be treated as a multi timbral sound source?

Depending on the app you can do up to 8 channels of midi. A app like BS-16i for example is a excellent multi-timbral sound source.

You can also use a app like beatmaker 2 and sequence Animoog on one channel and Sunrizer on another via virtual midi too.

Triggering/Sequencing 2 or more different apps at the same time via lets say MPC is something I havent tried yet.

Yeah the main thing is to get creative when making unique Timbres and Mix them up in the Timbre section of Animoog for different results. Ive even added like 3 to 4 different waveforms to one Timbre with great results.

Heres some Novation BassStation Timbres already ready for you to Try out:
