scsi CD-rom compatibility with 2000xl

does anyone know where I can get a list of compatible scsi cd-rom drives for my mpc 2000xl? The mpc does not read files from the cd-rom I got from a used computer store. THX

It could be the way you are burning your CD's, if not is the MPC seeing the drive? Did you check the number (in the SCSI chain) and set the MPC to the same? Is the CDROM terminated? The number and termination should be found in the back, if all of that has been done you can check: http://www.mpc2000xl.com for a list of drives. I have an NEC Multispin 6X, it's not on the list but it works fine. Most of them will work if they are terminated and you are buring CD's correctly.
