Host DAW transport control in Pro Tools? Does it work?

Host DAW transport control in Pro Tools? Does it work?

In the following video, you can see Young Guru clearly showing that Ren has the ability to control the transport Host DAW Ableton. As some of you may know, Maschine 1.8 will have this feature as well, except with Pro Tools. Has anyone that that uses Pro Tools confirmed whether or not Ren can control it's transport?

Pro Tools is not fully supported in OS1. RTAS has been removed from product specifications. If Maschine has similar limitations...there may be a good reason for it.

I think you will see full Pro Tools support coming sooner rather than later...or at least I hope so.

Any news on if they will be supporting AAX instead of RTAS when they do release the software as a plug-in for Pro Tools? RTAS is now essentially obsolete and won't be supported in PT11 and can't support 64bit, which is inevitable.

We will start with RTAS, and will be supporting AAX as well, when the time comes.
