recording CC data in DAW

Hey all,

quick question about recording CC data, particularly into logic. So i can automate vst params using the qlinks and they record to my sequence in the mpc, the modulation occurs. When I track things into the DAW however, my cc modulation does not record.

Do I have to change automation from read to write or touch???

So er what ? you are asking how to use your DAW? kinda wrong section for DAW stuff. Qlink slider puts out any MIDI CC you want, so it is a MIDI to DAW issue ??
You give little info so it is hard to understand what the problem is. If you mean track out you mean that you are using a midi interface from MPC to DAW right but do not get midi CC in DAW. I use Q-link slider all the time for midi CCs and it works fine on every one of them, so I suggest you try and work out how to map your devices through interface and get that daw to respond to any midi, then you are half way there.

I don't know how to record CC's into Logic in realtime, but I believe if you save your sequence as MIDI type 1 (there is an option in save mode) and than import this MIDI file into Logic it will appear over the tracks.
