MPC 1000 Not Recording Right

Hello:

I have a quick question about my mcp 1000 not recording. Here is my situation, if I am recording 2 bars, and I try to place high hats on beat 1, 2, 3, 4, they will record, but in the second bar beats 3 and 4 begin to decay and fade out. Also, when I hit my pads, they play the sounds very fast, for instance a snare will sound twice, when I only hit button once. Any insight or suggestions, i've been struggling trying to resolve this

Not sure why things were acting up, but decided to reinstall JJOS after I couldnt find a solution, everything working fine now...
