Is anyone getting this error message when you attempt to boot Ren? Sometimes I even have to reboot the computer to get Ren to boot.

What OS are you on?

This problem can happen if the software and hardware lose communication like when your computer goes to sleep. Or if you power cycle...by having the software open and you power your hardware off/on.

The best performance is having your Ren connected to your computer. Once your computer boots up, turn on the Ren, and then open up the software.

I can help you trouble shoot your issue if you give me some specific details about what you are doing when this occurs, some info about your computer, any info about other USB or audio devices connected, etc. Nothing is too small to report. I'll look into this immediately.

Thanks for the reply guys. I was not clear in my description, this issue ussually occurs after a crash. However, it has happened when I first turn the unit on too (using your mentioned sequence Jah).

I have found a temporary work-around that seems to be successful. If you leave the warning on the screen and detach the usb port from Ren, then reattach--everything should go back to normal. Hopefully this situation will be cleared up in future updates.

What USB ports of your computer are you using? I have a Sony Vaio that has USB ports on the side and on the rear. The ones on the sides doesn't supply enough power. I had had a number of issues running some USB devices using those ports. The USB ports on the back work perfectly with all devices.

Never

Please share your set-up, you sound like a minority. You are running Mountain Lion, yes?
