EDIT: works with my Juno but not on my ASR10!

Iv done everything and its not working for me (MPC and ASR10)
Although I can sync protools with asr and mpc...

Can any one just post the MPC and ASR files and I can just load them from a floppy?

I have the MPC2000 and in the readme it breaks down below:
I do not have the option to IGNORE ALL SETTINGS or F2 monitor!

1. MAIN SCREEN>> move cursor to highlight drum1... scroll to MIDI.. press open window.... IGNORE ALL SETTINGS.. press f2... (MONITR)... IF YOU FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WILL SEE MIDI 1, channel 1 blinking when you play keys on your ASR.

First of all, welcome to the forums.

Now, using your MPC and ASR together is the title of this thread, so read the information already posted to find out how to achieve this with your setup. Remember that the MPC is the sequencer in this scenario, and the ASR is essentially a sound module being triggered by midi. The key to this setup is creating a template sequence on your MPC with the required midi assignments in place. Try to nail this aspect exactly as described in this thread. Report back here if you encounter any problems, but try to DIY first.

Synchronising your MPC to Pro Tools is an entirely seperate issue, one which you will find discussed elsewhere if you look hard enough.

Seperate these two tasks, and complete them one at a time to avoid confusion.

Use an output of the mpc to hear the metronome... left or right from the stereo outs, headphone out... connect it to a mixer or something...

i recently added an asr-10 rack unit to my setup and i love it

although it's a bit tedious using the asr-10, the sound quality is def worth it

i'm sure i'll be quicker on the asr as time goes on cuz it was the same shiznit with the mpc when i was first usin it

my keyboard for the asr-10 rack is the microkorg and the microkorg, asr-10, and protools vst's all being controlled by the mpc 2500

everything is ran thru a mixer so i can still use everythings sounds with the click of a button

i got the mpc linked to protools too via mbox 2 so all i gotta do is move the audio output jacks to whichever unit i'm tracking at the moment

New topic same problem guys on I hook my korg m3 to midi out1 then hook my Asr 10 to my mpcs midi in 2 it does no pick up me playing the keys on the Asr 10 but the mpc picks up the sounds from the Asr on the pads??? Could this mean it my midi in slot 2 broke because I already tried to use the korg m3 on the mpc 2nd midi input and still doesn't pick up the keys being played.

Also with the Asr 10 and mpc settings I've noticed that when changing instruments on Asr the midi input still comes through only number 1 midi channel unless I change the midi base every time

Please help me. Guys.

I tried to understand what your issue is, but your post makes no sense to me. Start a new thread here viewforum.php?f=42 and try to explain things like your MIDI connections clearly ( korg midi out to mpc midi in, ASR10 midi out to MPC midi in ). Really break it down, like...

My Setup)
Problem 1)
Problem 2)
Problem 3)
