Hi everyone, I just got my MPC-1000 last week and am awaiting my turntable. I am a little confused about whether i need a preamp for the specific turntable i'm getting. The reason i'm confused is because the tutorial book i bought says all turntables require a separate preamp so you can hear it on the MPC. I noticed my turntable says it comes with a built in preamp, im wondering if the built in preamp will be enough, or do i need a separate one as well? Here are the specifications
Pre-amp "PHONO": 2.5 mV nominal at 1 kHz, 5 cm/sec
Pre-amp "LINE": 150 mV nominal at 1 kHz, 5 cm/sec
Phono Pre-Amp Gain: 36 dB nominal, RIAA equalized
and here's a link to the turntable if you need more info
