When auditioning the Chops why is it only in One Shot ? Im I missing something.

Pressing the stop button sends an All Notes Off message to any VST programs you have loaded. If you can provide specific details about your issue, that would go a long ways towards trouble shooting.

As far as auditioning Chops, what do you mean specifically? Chops in Sample Edit/Chop Mode are actually auditioned using Note On; One Shot is not an option.

Yes I meant note on, is there an option to put one shot.

As for the freeze as soon as I go from one seq or screen it's locks up. I'm able to navigate with the mouse use the software but the controller is unresponsive and I can't play anything.

Whenever I load a saved project, all of the info loads except the project name. The Project Information loads as (untilted), which causes me to rename the project as the saved project to overwrite any new additions to the project.

I have a couple of bugs, so I'll make this as quick as possible. On the Program Edit screen, when you change the root note of a sample to it's correct position so you play the notes on your midi keyboard accurately, sample is actually placed a half step too high, which is really annoying. Try it yourself. load a sample or a note recorded from a midi keyboard that's easy to recognize, for example, note C2. Drag that file onto pad 1 or select the sample from the layer menu. Both options will place the sample at C3, which is the default location. Now switch the root note to C3. If you listen closely, when you it C3 on your midi keyboard, you will hear a C#3 note played. So in order for the notes to be played correctly, you have to make the root note B3 in order to map the C3 sample correctly.

Also, spectra sonic VSTs like Omnisphere and Trillian have such huge libraries, that it is very useful to use the search feature that those VSTs provide, but the function is disabled when using those VSTs in the Renaissance. Also, when program drums, sometimes the drums are placed every single track all at once instead of the one selected track, which sucks. I would record drums on track one. When I go to track two place a sample on it that I just recorded, those same drums I recorded on track one are also on track two, three, four, etc. When I remove the drums from track two, the drums are also removed from track one as well.

Looking at this now. For keygroup program, Pad A01 should be C-2 not C3.

So when you use these plugins within a DAW, the search feature works but when you use them inside the Ren, this feature is disabled?

Not seeing this one.

My software will shut down automatically when trying to load up a plugin or just a sound, and it will switch to a different asio driver by itself! The software won't load all the plugins I have on my computer!

when there's a vst loaded, won't let me copy to new sequence at times

can't delete/ switch sample off pads

can't keep song saved in vintage mode

program crashes when scrolling through samples

bad feedback from record mode, trouble shooting-turntable grounded, phono setting selected on both top of mpc and side of mpc.

Just copying a sequence crashes the software!?!? Does this happen every time?

well for me just the copying of a sequence does not crash the software but I do have one project that i cant seem to understand every time i copy a sequence in the project file it crashes the mpc software. I have tested this on a different computer as well with the same project file.

i thing it has something to do with vst's are you using any? i deleted my trillian bass vst and then it worked, it's still a MAJOR glitch

1. Which VST instrument are you using? Note that ff you have multiple VSTs loaded with very little memory remaining on your system, you won't be able to copy.

2. You can remove samples off of pads in Program Edit Mode

3. Vintage Mode is not saved with song or projects; working as designed

4. What are you doing specifically?

5. Connect your turn table directly to the Ren; no need for a mixer. Turn Direct Mon knob all the way left to Input. Turn Monitor in the software to On.

1) The VST I am using is Trillian. It is not a cracked version. I have a Mac I 7 processor with 8 gigs of RAM, so this should work fine, it does in Ableton and Maschine. All my Vst work flawlessly in those DAWs
2) I guess I am use to Ableton where it's a little more flexible than that, no big deal though i feel it could use improvement on future updates.
3) What is the purpose of vintage mode then?
4) I am previewing samples on the left side browser with the automatic preview and the software crashes
3) No mixer is connected, I know the Renaissance has an amp, however, when the monitor is on, there is a lot of noise in my speakers/headphones and up to 1 fifth of unwanted noise in my level meter.

thank you for your help. I pointed out some bugs, however a couple of these questions could be answered I am sure, just wondering about the noise in record mode and why my vst's glitch the MPC.
