Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I was just wondering if the sound output of either is of a higher standard and if the tonal characters of the outputs are different in any way....pretty much does one "sound" better than the other?
Peace

I owned both...and honestly the sound pretty close...but for some reason the 1000 just sounds a little more plasticy...i prefer the 2000xl...

The reason y the 2kxl sounds better cuz of the ohms... peep it.

MPC 1000:
Record input (L and R) 1/4-inch stereo phone x 2, balanced -40dBu, input impedance 11k ohms

MPC 2000xl:
Record input (L and R): 1/4" stereo phone x 2, balanced -40dBu, input imp. 39k ohms

MPC 1000:
Stereo output (L and R) 1/4-inch phone x 2 unbalanced +11dBu, output impedance 1k Ohms

MPC 2000xl:
Stereo output: 1/4" phone x 2, unbalanced +11dBu, output imp. 100 ohms

OHMS: The unit of measurement used to measure resistance to electrical current.

I guess it would be like the MPC3000 VS MPC2000/XL on sound quality , there both 16bit sound , same specs , one just sounds a lil punchy than the othe..........BUT.... I go for the 2000 or XL on that one...peace.

......so does anyone know if they have the same D/A converters? I ve looked for this info but cant really find anything that explains them in that much detail....
...and impedance wont make a difference to the sound (ohms!)

So if anyone has tech info it would be much appreciated.
Cheers
