thats nice man, i always wanted to mess with a emax. Akai s samplers drive me crazy though, hows the sound on that 6000 compare to say the 3K?

I really like the sound of the 6000. It's pleasing and I was expecting something colder. I can't really compre it to the sound of the 3k because I've really only heard drums and sch on the 3k, and I don't really use the 6000 for that.

I'ts a great sampler, the fact that it is available so cheap now really makes it great.

Don't forget he mixed & engineered it at Dan the Automators place and he's got a lot of shit in his place. Alot of people seem to forget this

I think Automator got Pro Tools when it forst came out too

I know that he mixed it at Dan Nakamura's house. I dont think he had pro tools at that point though. Even still, Im saying that its a great complete album made basically on the 60. (Before stereo pairing to adat and then being mixed).

oh don't get me wrong the boy is ill and bollocks to the haters.
I just get fed up of the mindset of "oh yeah shadow did that album, plugged his 60 into a vinyl lathe and that was it done and dusted"

I don't think theres a better album showing what a good set of ears and an MPC can do
