Nor should anyone who has ever made heat on a 60, 3000, 2000/ XL or a 4000.

Think about that for a minute, seriously.

I think they hype is mainly because it greatly and improves and makes the jj models more functional opposed to being some holy grail of beat making OS. I love my classic mpc's but would never use the stock akai os and on either the 1k or 2500 respectfully.

^^^akai OS on the 1000/2500 is and was a total joke. Akai wouldn't have sold half the units they did if it wasn't for JJ. They probably have a shrine to this Japanese ***** at Akai hq. I take the beat thang as seriously as a blue and red mpc1000 with akai OS.

Get one of those programmers in another country to find the info you need. Ask JJ if he is willing to do it if you give them the info they need. I got :?: on it.

Actually I have never seen an official response from jjos about the other mpc's.

Hehe,
I have the Ren to
My 4k isnt going anywhere.
One thing I like about the 4k is its strange ability to function without a computer and its totally weird super enhanced sample edit and manipulation features. I also like the fact I wont have to wait five years for it to be fully functional..
