mpc work like a drum pad control

(didn't find any thread talking about it, if so, don't hesitate to kick my ass )

I'd like to connect my mpc 1000 (JJ OS1 v.4.99) to Reaper and make it work like a MPD/PadKontrol.
Both have already been connected as master/Slave (work well for sync), but i 'd never succeeded to control piano roll with the MPC......
Could someone help me......
