understand you CAN NOT get a pirate copy of bpm but YOU CAN GET A MASCHINE CRACK. i purchased both and push them through an APOGEE DUET and some ULTRASONE PRO 750s or Events. i think someone wants to hear my findings b4 they loose bread.

i will bet money the sound coming from UVIs BPM will smoke NIs Maschine. but i like maschine's workflow and sequencer. i love both. i think people just want the triton and the 2k xl inna standalone. i was just REPORTING cause yo punk @zz didnt spring for BOTH like we(me and my engineer/producer associates - no id, d cannon, dub m, etc) did! i also tried idrum, Guru, beat thang virtual, MPC4ks Aksys shheeeet. my friend is the male voice in the mv8800! So.....whatcho **** @zz bring to the table SON! rite.....

and like i said the sequencing is better than all other MPC-like softwares IMHO - just tighter(mpc2kxl-ish) not more complete than maschine. btv is my asrx -v not mpc -v IMO

blah blah blah.. every thread you post in is related to something being better then the mpc, when there is no comparison. BPM is a software program with a skin that is layed out in a way that looks like an mpc. They could make a skin to have it look like an ASR-X and people would compare it to an ASR-X. If mentioning rack gear is "1988" then why are you even mentioning the MPC in this thread? Every single mpc has midi capabilities for the specific purpose... to run midi devices. I personally dont, but what are midi out ports for then and why does 99% of hardware have them? In fact, why does the mpd and mpk have them? Because those things are still being used today.

If you were running maschine and BPM with the SAME exact samples using 100% of the same equipment running the same drivers... they should sound the same. You like BPM better, that doesn't mean it IS better... so take your gay "dick riding" posts to a motu bpm forum.

what do you mean late as always? For that previous response? How many hours were you sitting at the computer clicking refresh to see if you got a response?

Yes this is a BPM thread... so shut your face and post some proof/facts that BPM sounds "better" then the mashine... and cut it out with your gay sh!t.

1. I LIKE Wu-Tang, Chemical Brothers, Amon Tobin, Orb, Necro, Pepe Deluxe, Moby, Adult., DJ Shadow, DJ Premier, ETC...

ADMIT IT! you and ya buddy was lookin for that TRANCE PAK or Underground Minimal and then the crack pipe exploded! They dont even have a UVI/BPM card for you dawg!! why are you here? 2. About Debauch Sophisticates....who are we: we are two dudes, a field recorder, a sampling machine or two, and a computer to put it all together. Most of what you are hearing is based on recordings of sounds in abandoned buildings, back alleyways, road tunnels, public transit systems, etc.. We like making musical projects from the obscure day to day sounds in our environment.

Obscure day to day sounds in your environment meaning the recording of Adam or Dave's man-gina flatulence when track 2 is burning hot?

3. We also dive into the realm of traditional hip hop sampling, I mean... we grew up listening to that. But we took things to a whole other level. enjoy, and send some feedback!

YOU A FAKE! YOU DIDNT "GROW UP" LISTENING TO HIP HOP, SON. YOU HEARD OF IT!

Now here's some "FEEDBACK" for dat azz!

quit talking like you personally know me. You dont know sh!t about sh!t, plus you cant even back up your own statements on your favourite music program.

Thanks for the promo, good job copy/pasting my page... and if you wondered why I didn't list every single producer I like.... is because I would be there all day. In fact untill more recently, I didn't produce hip hop at all what so ever....

On that BPM note: One thing is certain. The Motu BPM sound engine is probably the best out there. The UVI engine it uses allows full 32 Bit samples to be imported into it and used. Stylus RMX Xpanded, Guru, Machine, and Kontakt cannot do that, and I've checked with all of those companies. BPM could use a few more intuitive features, for sure, but properly treated drums sound ridiculous in BPM, seriously. Is it the best "MPC-Like" software out there......... hmmmmmmm, not yet, but not too far away. In truth, in terms of creative flow and user friendliness, Motu is only a few really creative updates away from having the best MPC-Like software on the market, period. I just wish they weren't so sloooooowwwwwwwwwwww ! - - - Reub.

to be honest when you go to NAAM shows, etc and get NFR(NOT FOR RESALE) product, you get to test them side by side and thru my findings using the same drums, soul samples(Premo, Kanye) and whatnot, i never heard a MPC-ish stand-alone STAND SO ALONE!

"Is it the best "MPC-Like" software out there......... hmmmmmmm, not yet, but not too far away"

naw its better than Guru, Machine, Playa cause you could fast forward all of these products and only one has SUPERIOR SOUND and THAT my friends is what James(Dilla) Yancey was praised for. which one of theese HIT CLEAN! like a 3000!

actually im in love with Beat Thang virtual but thats my ASRX! --- not MPC replacement. no joke that engine sounds better than ANY software standalone sampler with pads! - like BPM but CREAMEIR! but its my ASRX and life is gettin better each upgrade!

BACK ON SUBJECT - if NI puts Kontakt in Maschine then it still wont SOUND better than MACHFIVE v2 aka UVIWorkstation. to add insult to injury Guru was NOT made to be "LIKE" an MPC as told straight from fxpansion over the phone. You cant load Vienna Symphonic Library up thus are not on BPMs level.

If you turn all these products up to 10 BPM will smoke em. MPC = MJ but BPM = Labron(kobe's ankles = penny hardaway in an NBA full of Olajuwon, Metumbo, The Admiral, Mourning and Karl Malone)

Well.......Dilla's sound was not "DIRTY" like say.....Pete Rock who used an Sp1200 (12 bit) up until now a 2000xl = cleaner.

Whaddya say folks? HE KNOWS HIS SHIT DONT HE!

And that "phony 'harmonics/distortion' emulation" was introduced to me by a buddy of mine... NO ID! told me use Colortone Pro(Tritone Digital) sooo its nothing new to US!
