Im not sure if presets is the right word but I got an akai 500 and its good but when i load more than 5-6 samples on it from the memory card the screen says 'memory full'. How do I delete the drum kits and samples that came with it eg. Sunny_Set and Top_Drum? If anyone could help it would be much appreciated, I wouldnt want to throw my mpc out the window out of pure frustration!

Fonetik.

Oh yeah and I cant find the solution in the manual so dont suggest that please

No. Thats not what he wants. He wants everything deleted.

Here you go bro, straight from the ninja scrolls.

You won't find this in the manual

Deleting everything off the Internal memory:
1. MODE+SAVE[PAD 3]
2. Scroll the wheel 6 steps to the right, it should say
"SAVE:To internal/All sq&song|pg&smpl"
3. Press 12 LEVELS/DO IT twice.
4. Something will pop up saying "Replace memory/Press REC bttn", press the REC/Record button.
5. When it's done erasing the flash at 100% TURN THE MACHINE OFF ASAP!, then you're done.

Also, be sure to check out the 500 section, for more amazing sh!t you won't find in the manual.
