ProTools 001/MPC sync help

I'm syncing the MPC to ProTools via MIDI Beat Clock.
ProTools is sending sync and the MPC is recieving (I don't think ProTools can be the reciever in MIDI Beat Clock)

My problem is, when I press record on ProTools, it starts the MPC fine and it's all in sync...BUT, the swing settings on the MPC beat aren't being heard. It's just straight 16th quantize.

How can I sync the two while still keeping my beat's swing settings??

try using midi time code at 30 frames. go into pro tools aND WHERE U WOULD GO TO FIND SHOW TRANSPORT U WILL FIND SHOW SESSION SETIP. MAKE SURE THAT ITS AT 30 FRAMES AND IT READS DIGI OO1 AND INTERNAL AND THAT EVERYTHING IS ALLIGNED PROPERLY. IT SHOULD WORK AFTER THAT
