New to the Game of the MPC 2500

Hey People,

Im new to using hardware, have been using basically software for most my production years (which i am regretting now).

But i cant even seem to load a sample onto A pad. Yep, thats right. I can hear everything (which is the click track atm) and teh samples play when i press play but my brain is kind of working very software-y.

I would love if someone could basically help me out and let me know in layman's terms what i need to do. And if anyone has any tips that they have learnt to deal with this tragically difficult but worth-whille transition.

well in laymans terms... you should basically ... sit down and read the manual..

really. I'm not joking with you.. there is all the basic information you need in there..

I made the same swith a couple years ago (I came from using FL...) so , I went through that stage too...

And what really helped was the manual. It might wreck your head a bit... but it's worth the read...

You're not very likley to get fluent with any machine if you can't find out the answer to such basic questions by yourself.

Hey, I bought the instructional book from Mpc-samples.com , its $40 but well worth the money. It's the manual on steroids broken down in easy to follow tutorials...
